1) For the answer of the first question, It is given the 64m of cloth is required for 36 trousers.

Using unitary method,

Length of cloth for 36 trousers = 64

Length of cloth for 1 trouser = 64/36 = 16/9 meters

Therefore, Length of cloth for one trouser = 16/9 meters

2) Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth

= 18*\frac{3}{5}* 8*\frac{2}{3}

= 288/5

= 57.6 m^2
