Given x^6 - 7x^3 - 8

= > (x + 1)(x^5 - x^4 + x^3 - 8x^2 + 8x - 8)

= > (x + 1)(x^5 - x^4 + x^3) + (-8x^2 + 8x - 8)

= > (x + 1)(x^3(x^2 - x + 1) - 8(x^2 - x + 1))

= > (x + 1)(x^2 - x - 1)(x^3 - 8)

= > (x + 1)(x^2 - x - 1)(x^3 - 2^3)

We know that a^3 - b^3 = (a - b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)

= > (x + 1)(x^2 - x +1)(x - 2)(x^2 + 2x + 4).

Hope this helps!
