WE ALL KNOW THAT THE THE POWERS ARE SUBTRACTED WHEN TWO SAME NUMBERS ARE DIVIDED BY EACH OTHER...

So,

 {( \frac{11}{12}) }^{x}  \div  {( \frac{11}{12} )}^{22}  =  \frac{1}{ {( \frac{11}{12}) }^{2}  }

 {( \frac{11}{12}) }^{x - 22}  =  {( \frac{11}{12}) }^{ - 2}

Now compare powers,

x - 22 =  - 2

x = 22 - 2

x = 20
