SOLUTION ☺️

Cos300° + i sin300°

As 300° is lies in 4th quadrant where Cos is positive and is reference angle of 60°

and it is away from x axis

we know that cos60° 1/2

cos300°= 1/2

costheta >0 in the 4th quadrant

So, cos 300°= 0.5

We know that,

Sin300°= sin(360- 60)

= sin360× cos60°

= -cos360° × sin60°

= 0- sin60°

= -√3/2

Therefore,

cos300° + i sin300°

= -0.5- √3/2 i ans.
