Emptying time is 8 hr.

Ine min.emptying rate = V/480

If both the taps are open ,Simultaneously the tank water filling rate/min.

= V/300 -V/480

= V( 8-5)/2400

= V3/2400

= V/800.

So,the tank get filled up in 800 Mt. or 800/60 = 13 hrs.20 min.
