In a parallel circuit, the voltage remains constant. So the overall voltage will be equal to potential difference between p and q, that is 6 volts

Hey mate!

here is your answer:

volatge =6 ohm

current in both will be same as the resistance is same.

so, current is voltage/resistance =6/2=3ampere each .

now, total current =6 apmere

Eqivalent resistance =1/2+1/2=1ohm

voltage=current×resistance =1×6=6volt.
