\large\sf\underline{Question}

  • \sf\:3+\frac{1}{x}=\frac{10}{x^{2}}

\large\sf\underline{Solution}

\sf\:3+\frac{1}{x}=\frac{10}{x^{2}}

\sf⟹\:\frac{3x+1}{x}=\frac{10}{x^{2}}

\sf⟹\:x^{2} (3x+1)=10x

\sf⟹\:3x^{3}+x^{2}=10x

\sf⟹\:3x^{3}+x^{2}-10x=0

3 + 1/x = 10/x^2

Multipy through by x^2 --- 3x^2 + x = 10

3x^2 + x - 10 = 0

(x+2) (3x−5) = 0

x = either -2 or +5/3
