Given Expression :

Tan12° × Tan38° × Tan52° Tan60° × Tan78°

Solution :

We know that, TanØ = Cot(90°-Ø).

Changing half the number of Ratios in cot.

→ Cot(90° - 12°) × Cot(90° - 38°) × Tan52° × Tan60° × Tan78°

→ Cot78° × Cot52° × Tan52° × Tan60° × Tan78°

We also know that, tanØ = 1/cotØ,

→ (1/Tan78°) × (1/Tan52°) × Tan52° × Tan60° × Tan78°

Putting tan60° = 3

→ 1 × 1 × √3

→ √3

•°• Tan12° × Tan38° × Tan52° Tan60° × Tan78° = √3
