Let the ten's digit be x and the one's digit be y.
The original number will be 10x + y and reversed number is 10y + x.
Given 7(10x+y) = 4(10y+x)
70x + 7y = 40y + 4x
66x - 33y = 0
2x - y = 0
2x = y ------------- (1)
Given that the difference of the digit is 3.
y - x = 3
2x - x = 3
x = 3
substitute x = 3 in (1), we get
y = 6.
The number is 36.
Hope this helps!
