x + 2y = 0
multiply equation 2 by 2
2x + 4y = 0
2x + 3y = 0
Subtract
y = 0
Substitute in 1
2x + 0 = 0
2x = 0
x = 0
x + 2y = 0
multiply equation 2 by 2
2x + 4y = 0
2x + 3y = 0
Subtract
y = 0
Substitute in 1
2x + 0 = 0
2x = 0
x = 0
2x=3-y;x=3-y/2
substitute this value in equation 2
