(- 5/6) + (2/3) + (-4/3)

- 5/6 + 2/3 - 4/3

-5/6 + (2 - 4)/3

- 5/6 + (- 2)/3

-5/6 -2/3

(- 15 - 12)/18

- 27/18

-3/2

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

           Given data:- (\frac{-5}{6} ) + (\frac{2}{3} ) + (\frac{-4}{3} ).

To find:- Value of given expression=?

           Solution:-

  • Adding two or more numbers together is known as an addition.
  • Addition as denoted by(+).
  1. Properties of addition are as follows
  2. Identity property of zero.
  3. Inverse property.
  4. Commutative property.
  5. Associative property.

        Therefore,

           (\frac{-5}{6} ) + (\frac{2}{3} ) + (\frac{-4}{3} )\\=\frac{-5}{6} +\frac{2}{3} + \frac{-4}{3} \\=\frac{-5}{6} + \frac{(2 - 4)}{3} \\=\frac{-5}{6} +\frac{-2}{3} \\=\frac{-5}{6} +\frac{-2}{3}\\=\frac{(- 15 - 12)}{18} \\=\frac{-27}{18}\\=\frac{-3}{2}.

Hence we will get the value  \frac{-3}{2}.
