the lateral surface of cylinder is
2\pi(r)h \\ now \: 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{2}  \times 7 \\  = 22 \times 7 = 154 {cm}^{2}
the lateral surface area of cube is
4 {a}^{2}  \\ now \:  \: 4 {(7)}^{2}   \\ =  4 \times 49 = 196 {cm}^{2}
By the above solution we get that lateral surface area of cube is greater that lateral surface area of cylinder.
They both are alike as one is in cylindrical shape & another in cubical shape (I THINK SO)
