Now, cos (θ - 1170)

= cos {- (1170 - θ)}

= cos (1170 - θ), since cos (- θ) = cosθ

= cos {(360 × 3) + (90 - θ)}

= cos (90 - θ), since cos (360n - θ) = cosθ, where n is any Natural number

= sinθ, since cos (90 - θ) = sinθ
