ANSWER

(1)

let the angle is =X

now...

complement of X=90°-x

and supplement of X=180°-x

now according to the problem..

(90 - x) =  \frac{1}{4}  \times (180 - x) \\  =  > 360 - 4x = 180 - x \\  =  > 360 - 180 =  - x + 4x \\  =  > x =  \frac{180}{3}  \\  =  > x = 60

the angle is 60°

(2)

let the angle is =X

now according to the problem...

(90 - x) =  \frac{2}{5}  \times (180 - x) \\  =  > 450 - 5x = 360 - 2x \\  =  > 450 - 360 =  - 2x + 5x \\  =  > 3x = 90 \\  =  > x = 30

therefore the angle is 30°
