We know that Area of parallelogram = Base * Corresponding Altitude.

So, Area of parallelogram ABCD = AD * BN = AB * DM

⇒ AD * 8 = 10 * 7

⇒ 8AD = 70

⇒ AD = 70/8

⇒ AD = 8.75 cm.

Hope it helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

AB = 10 cm

DE = 7 cm

BF = 8 cm

Now the area of parallelogram  = base x corresponding height

AD x BF = AB x DE

AD x 7 =  10 x 8

AD = (10*7) / 8

AD = 70/8

= 8.75 cm
