let the first angle be x and second angle be (x+14°)

now,

complementary angles = two angles whose sum measures up to 90°

now,

x+x+14=90°

2x+14=90°

2x=90-14

2x=76°

x=76/2=38°

therefore,

first angle= 38°

and,

second angle= x+14°=38+14=52°
