let the digit in tens place be y and that at the unit place be x.
THE NUMBER BECOMES = 10(X)+Y
ATQ,CASE1
four times digit of units place=
y=4x

ATQ, CASE 2
X+Y=10--------(1)

NOW, SUBSTITUTING THE VALUE OF Y IN EQUATION 1

X+4X=10
5X=10
X=10/5=2

NOW PITTING THE VALUE OF X IN THE VALUE OF Y=4X
Y=4(2)=8

THEREFORE THE NUMBER IS 10(2)+8=20+8=28

HOPE IT HELPS YOU.
PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST.

snaim6246: is it 10x+y?
AnushmitaRay: but here is no option to make you a brainlest
palakhanduja32: no if you will take 10(y)+x
palakhanduja32: you will get the answer
snaim6246: I'm not saying that I'm a brainliest
palakhanduja32: in such questions even if your answer is 28 that wont be wrong
snaim6246: so you answerd 10 into 2 + 8 =28,
palakhanduja32: yes
AnushmitaRay: okk
snaim6246: so here is no option to make you a brainist
