Given Equation is x^2 - 760x + 31200 = 0

It is in the form of ax^2 + bx + c = 0

Where a = 1, b = -760, c = 31200.

The solutions are:

(1)

x =  \frac{-b +  \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac} }{2a}

 \frac{-(-760) +  \sqrt{(-760)^2 - 4 * 1 * 31200} }{2 * 1}

 \frac{760 +  \sqrt{452800} }{2}

 \frac{760 + 40 \sqrt{283} }{2}

 \frac{40(19 +  \sqrt{283} )}{2}

20(19 +  \sqrt{283} )

(2)

x =  \frac{-b- \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac} }{2a}

 \frac{-(-760) +  \sqrt{(-760)^2 - 4 * 1 * 31200} }{2 * 1}

 \frac{760 - \sqrt{452800} }{2}

 \frac{760 - 40 \sqrt{283}  }{2}

 \frac{40(19 -  \sqrt{283}) }{2}

20(19 -  \sqrt{283} )

Hope this helps!
