Answer:

a bird flies for 4 s with velocityof (t-3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Velocity, u=∣t−3∣

Time, t=4 s

at t=0, u=2 m/s

t=2, u=0 m/s

t=4 ,u=3 m/s

between time t=0 to t=2sec

a=

0−2

=−1 m/s

×(−1)×4=2

Between time t=2 to t=4sec

Thus,

Total distance;

=2+2=4 m

Thus, during the 4 seconds, the bird travels a distance of 4 m.

At zero time bird was traveling at a speed of

0 - 3 = - 3 mets/sec in reverse direction say towards west. In one sec it travelled 3 met.

After one sec the speed of bird was :

1 - 3 = - 2 mets/sec. In west side , it travelled for one sec.

After 2 secs speed was : 2 - 3 = - 1 met / sec.

After 3 secs speed was 3 - 3 = 0 mets/sec ( it stops and reversed it direction say towards East.

And for next 3 seconds say 4th , 5th & 6th secs it travels same distance and reaches its starting point.

Towards west it travelled 3+ 2++1 = 6 mets.

And towards East it travelled : 1+2+3 = 6mets.

Total distance travelled = 6 + 6 = 12 mets.

While displacement is - 6 + 6 = 0 mets
