The required number is 15 .

Solution→

Let the certain number as x .Now according to the question

we have given that we have to add 10 in 4 times of the number and result will be 5 less than 5 times of that certain number. So ,

→ 4x + 10 = 5x - 5

→ 10 + 5. = 5x - 4x

→ 15. = x

Verification→

4 times of 15 will be 60 and 5 times of 15 will be 75 , Now A/q

→ 60 + 10 = 75 - 5

→ 70. = 70

hence verified .
