In Δ ABM, we have:
AB + BM > AM ............... (i)
In Δ ACM, we have:
AC + CM > AM ............... (ii)
On adding (i) and (ii), we get
AB + BM + MC + AC > AM + AM
From the figure it is clear that,
AB + BC + AC > AM + AM[Since BM + MC = BC]
AB + BC + AC > 2 AM
