4 one answer is as follows

In traingle ADB,

BD=20,AB=12 therefore,AD=16

therefore,area of traingle ADB=1/2*base*height

1/2*12*16=96cm^2......(1)

and BDC is equilateral traingle

therefore area of traingle BDC=√3/4*sides^2

√3/4*20*20=1.73*5*20=173cm^2...(2)

from eq 1 and 2

area of quadrilateral ABCD=173+96=269cm^2
