Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

Given that,

There are 10 Triangular pieces . 5 pieces - Design 1 , 5 pieces - Design 2.

Sides of the triangular cloth is - 20cm, 50cm ,50cm.

Area \ of \ triangular \ piece = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

S =  \frac{Perimeter}{2}

Perimeter = 50+50+20 =120cm

So, \ S=  \frac{120}{2} = 60

Therefore, \ Area = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}

=  \sqrt{(60) (60-50) (60-50)(60-20)}

= \sqrt{60(10)(10)(40)}

= 200\sqrt{6} cm^{2}

So, Area of triangular piece = 200√6 cm².

Area of Design 1 needed for single umbrella = 5 × 200√6  = 1000√6 cm²

Area of Design 2 needed for singe umbrella = 5× 200√6 = 1000√6 cm²

∴Area of cloth need for 20 umbrellas = 20 × 1000√6 = 20,000 √6 cm²

Therefore 20,000√6 cm² cloth of each design is required to donate 20 umbrellas.

The Value depicted  By the person is kind, intelligent, caring, helpful etc.
