As it intersects x-axis

x will be zero

therefore

3x+y=6

3×0+y=6

y=6

x=0

y=6

Answer:

Equation of the given equation is 3x – 2y = 6.

At x-axis, y = 0 and therefore, when the given line will meet x-axis then

3x – 2 × 0 = 6

⇒ 3x = 6

⇒ x = 2

Thus, the point, where the line 3x – 2y = 6 will meet x-axis, is (2, 0).
