sqrt(1 - cosA) / sqrt(1+ cosA)

multiply numerator and denominator with

sqrt (1+ cosA)

numerator = sqrt[(1-cosA)(1+cosA)]

=sqrt(1- cos²A) , because (1-a)(1+a)=1²-a²

=sqrt sin²A , because sin²A+ cos²A =1

= sinA

denominator = sqrt(1+cosA)²

= 1+cosA

answer: sinA/(1+cosA)
