it \: is \: in \: the \: form \: of \: (x + y)(x - y)

(x + y)(x - y) =  {x}^{2} -  {y}^{2}

( \sqrt{5}  +  \sqrt{3})( \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{3}) = ( \sqrt{5}){}^{2}-  (\sqrt{3} ) {}^{2}

 = 5 - 3

 = 2
