\bold{Hello}

As in the question , it's given that the car is under constant acceleration , so we will use equation of motion.

Step-1 ) v = u + at

here , u = 0

→ v = at

→ a = v/t

in the question , v = 144 km/hr = 40 m/sec

→ a = 40/20

Acceleration ( a ) = 2 m/s^2

Step-2 ) s. = ut + 1/2at^2

here also , u = 0

→ s = 1/2at^2

→ s = 1/2 × 2 × 20 × 20

distance travelled => \bold{400 m}

Hope It Helps You. ^_^
