AC + CB = AB
AB = AC + 5.... equation ( i )
=>
in Trangle PAB
Tan ( 45° ) = AB/AP
=>
1 = AB/AP
=>
AB = AP
put value of AB in equation ( i )
=>
AP = AC + 5
In Trangle PAC
Tan ( 30 ) = AC/AP
=>
1/√3 = AC / AP
=>
1/√3 = AC / AC + 5
=>
AC + 5 = AC√3
AC = -5/ ( 1 - √3 )
=>
AC = -5 ( 1+√3 ) / -2
=>
AC = 5/2 ( 1 + √3 )
So, the height of tower is
2.5(√3+1)
