Well thats common logic applied, whenever we take out hcf of 2 numbers, it has to be equal or less than the smaller no. Here in this question we r talking in terms of mins. Hence the time taken would be more than a min hence it would be lcm of the time in mins....
It maybe difficult to understand now but once we practice the same of questions again and again it becomes easy...
