Mw × Sw × (Tw-T) = Mv × Sv × (T-Tv)

here,

Mw = mass of water

Sw = specific heat of water

Tw = Temperature of water

Mv = mass of vessels

Sv = specific heat of water

T = temperature of mixture

now, put the given values in equation

40 × 4.2 × (60- 30) = 50 ×Sv × (30-20)

now solve this to get the value of Sv✔️
