If 21% of the bases were Adenine, then % of thymine base will be = 21%

Now, % of Cytosine and Guanine will be = 58%

or, % of Guanine = 29% of Cytosine = 29%

% of Pyrimidines = % of Thymine + % of Cytosine = 50%
