147- One digit is right but in its wrong place.

189- One digit is right and in its place

964- Two digits are correct but both are in wrong place.

523- All digits are wrong

286- One digit is right but in ts wrong place

To  find:

What is the three digit number =?

Solution:

  • In points 2, 3, and 5 define the number that is 9 is the part of that number, which is the last digit.
  • In point 1 and 3 it is clearly say's that the number that is 4 is wrong. and according to point 1, the 7 is the correct number but it is in the wrong place.
  • In other points, it defines that 6 is the correct number which is in the first place of the number, and 9 is the last place of the number so, automatically 7 is the mid number.

The three number digit is: 679
