area of llgm EDBA = b×h
7× 6.5
= 45.5cm²
Now, AB + BC = AC
( ED = AB )
ED + BC = 13
7 + BC = 13
BC = 13 -7
BC = 6
therefore ar(BDC) = 1/2 bh
1/2 × 6 × 6.5
(6.5 cuz ED II AB , there 6.5 is the height of the whole fig)
3×6.5
19.5cm²
Now, ar(EDCA) = ar(EDBA) + ar(DCB)
= 45.5+ 19.5
= 65 cm²
