Find: V ( image distance ).

Solution: we know that;

1/f = 1/V - 10/ U

= 1/-10=1/V + 10/U

= 1/ V = 1/30 + 1/10

= 1/ V = 1+3/30= 4/30

= 1/ V = 4/30=2/15cm..

V = 15/2=7.5cm (ans)....
