REFER TO THE ATTACHMENT FOR YOUR ANSWER.

Given :-

sin∅ = 12/13

sin∅ = height/hypotenuse

➡ height = 12 and hypotenuse = 13

by Pythagoras theorem, we get

➡ hypotenuse² = base² + height²

➡ 13² = base² + 12²

➡ base = √(169 - 144)

➡ base = √25 = 5

now, we know that :-

  • cos∅ = base/hypotenuse = 5/13

  • tan∅ = height/base = 12/5
