Answer:

225/64

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

cot θ = 15/8

To evaluate:

(2+2sinθ) (1-sinθ)/(1+cosθ)(2-2cosθ)

cotθ = 15/8

We know that, cot θ= cosθ/sinθ

This implies ,       cosθ/sinθ = 15/8

Thus, cosθ = 15/x and sin θ = 8/x ------------------   Eq 1

We know that,

1 + cot^2θ= cosec^2θ

1+(15/8)^2= cosec^2θ ( Substituting cotθ given value)

1+ 225/64 = cosec^2θ

268/64 = cosec^2θ

On rooting

17/8 = cosecθ

17/8  = 1/sinθ ( Because cosecθ=1/sinθ)

Thus,

8/17 = sinθ

Comparing the denominator in the equation 1  we get

x = 17

Thus by substituting x

cosθ = 15/17.

Now in the equation we have

(2+2sinθ) (1-sinθ)/(1+cosθ)(2-2cosθ)

= (2 + 2 *8/17) ( 1- 8/17) /   ( 1+15/17)(2-2*15/17)

=  (2+16/17)(9/17)   /   (32/17)(2-30/17)

=  (50/17)(9/17)  /   (32/17)(4/17)

= 50 *  9/32 * 4

= 225/64

Thank you
