To Find:- x and the given angles

Solution:-

∠AOD+∠DOB+∠BOC+∠COA=360° (sum of all angles meeting at a point) (Eq. 1)

also

∠AOD=∠BOC (Vertically opposite angles are equal)

&

∠DOB=∠COA (Vertically opposite angles are equal)

also

∠AOD= 4x-5

then ∠BOC=4x-5

and

∠DOB = x

then

∠COA = x

therefore

So from (Eq. 1)

(4x-5)+(4x-5)+x+x=360

10x-10=360

10x=360+10

10x=370

x=370/10

x=37°

therefore the angles are

∠AOD=4x-5=4×37-5=140-5=143°

∠DOB=x=37°

∠BOC=4x-5=4×35-5=140-5=143°

∠COA=x=37°

Let's check whether it's correct or not

∠AOD+∠DOB+∠BOC+∠COA=360°

143+37+143+37=360

360=360

L.H.S=R.H.S
