The answer is 57,824cm3. First find out the external volume and then the internal volume. Then, subtract internal volume from the external volume.

Are you from Loyola School or any ICSE school????

Given

External dimension of box

L=80cm
B=75cm
H=60cm

Thickness of walls=2cm

So internal dimensions of box would be

l=80-(2+2)=76cm

b=75-(2+2)=71cm

h=60-(2+2)=56cm

Volume of wood required = volume of box with external dimensions - volume of box with inner dimensions

Volume of box with external dimensions =L X B X H

=80X75X60

=360000cm³

Volume of box with inner dimensions =lxbxh

=76x71x56

=302176cm³

Volume of wood required =360000-302176

=57824cm³

This is ur ans hope it will help you in case of any doubt comment below
