Angle Apb is 90° because it is the angle of a semicircle
BP=x
AP=x+7
Ap²+BP²=AB²
Like in the text book
2x²+14x-120
x²+7x-60
splitting middle term
(x+12)(x-5)
Since we cant take it as negative so x=5
We had taken Ap as x+7......So AP is 12
