hey there

(1)the train travel distance =16.8km

time taken=25min= 0.41 hr.

speed =distance/time taken

speed =16.8/0.41

=40.97 km/hr

(2)distance =16800 m

time taken= 1500 sec.

speed= distance /time

speed =16800/1500

=11.2 m/s

(i) Given : Train travels 16.8 km in 25 minutes

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Distance\;traveled\;by\;the\;train\;in\;1\;minute = \dfrac{16.8}{25}}

●  One Hour contains 60 Minutes

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Distance\;traveled\;by\;the\;train\;in\;(60 \times 1)\;minute = \bigg(60 \times \dfrac{16.8}{25}\bigg)}

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Distance\;traveled\;by\;the\;train\;in\;60\;minutes = \bigg(12 \times \dfrac{16.8}{5}\bigg)}

★  Distance traveled by the train in 1 hour = (2.4 × 16.8)

★  Distance traveled by the train in 1 hour = 40.32 km

★  Speed of train in km/hr = 40.32

(ii).  Given : Train travels 16.8 km in 25 minutes

●  One Kilometer is made up of 1000 meters

●  One Minute contains 60 seconds

★  Train travels (16.8 × 1000) meters in (25 × 60) seconds

★  Train travels 16800 meters in 1500 seconds

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Distance\;traveled\;by\;the\;train\;in\;1\;second = \dfrac{16800}{1500}}

★  Distance traveled by the train in 1 second = 11.2 m

★  Speed of the train in m/s = 11.2

zoyahammad: Thanks
