no of pieces of length 7/3m the rope can be divided into = 63 / 7/3
= 63* 3/7
= 189/7

The total length of ribbon = 63m

= 63 m x (100 cm/1 m)

= 6300 cm

The number of pieces of ribbon, each 2.3 (2⅓=2.3) cm long, that can be cut from a length of 63 m (6300 cm) = 6300 cm/(2.3cm/1 piece)

= (6300 cm/1)/(2.3 cm/1 piece)

= (6300cm/1)(1 piece/2.3 cm)

= (63000 cm-pieces)/23cm)

= (63000 cm/23 cm) pieces

= 2700/100 pieces
27 pieces (Ans)
