Number of letters = 8
1) All vowels occur together :
For the 3 vowels we can arrange them in = 3!
For the remaining it would be = 6!
So total ways = 3! * 6! = 4320
2) For the condition of all vowels not occurring together we can simply subtract the ways in which vowels occur together from all possible arrangments:
8! - (6! * 3!) = > 3600 Answer
