First, let's convert the given mixed fraction into proper fraction /—

________________________________

4  \frac{2}{7}  =  \frac{30}{7}

2  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{12}{5}

________________________________

So, Here we go,

________________________________

 \frac{30}{7}   \div  \frac{12}{5}

 =  \frac{30}{7}  \times  \frac{5}{12}

 =  \frac{150}{84}

 =  \frac{75}{42}    =  \frac{25}{14}

4\frac{2}{7}  ÷  2\frac{2}{5}

converting mixed fraction into improper fraction

Note:- denominator × whole number + numerator

4\frac{2}{7}  =  7 × 4 + 2

⇒ 28 + 2

⇒ 30

4\frac{2}{7} = \frac{30}{7}

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2\frac{2}{5}  =  5 × 2 + 2

⇒ 10 + 2

⇒ 12

2\frac{2}{5} = \frac{12}{5}

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

⇒   \frac{30}{7}\\\frac{12}{5} or  30/ 7 whole divided by 12/7

\frac{30}{7} × \frac{5}{12}

\frac{30*5}{7*12}

\frac{150}{84}

doing simplification by dividing it by 6,    150/6 = 25 and 84/6 = 14

simplified answer ⇒ \frac{25}{14}
