Answer:

10x²y²-8xy²+6x²y³ by 2xy

= 10x²y²-8xy²+6x²y³ ÷ 2xy

= 10x²y² 8xy² 6²y³(numerator)

_____ - ____+ ____.

2xy. 2xy. 2xy (denominator)

( In the above step u must cancel them like u can see 2×5= 10 so whenever u will cancel them u will get that numerator 5 and the denominator 1 . I hope u understood what I have said)

= 5xy-4y+3xy²

Solution :-

• 10x²y² - 8xy² + 6x²y³ ÷ 2xy

\\

 \tiny\sf 2xy )\;\:\;\cancel{10x^2y^2} - 8xy^2 + 6x^2y^3\;(5xy-4y+3xy^2\\\tiny\sf\underline{\cancel{-10x^2y^2\:}\qquad\qquad\qquad}\qquad\quad\\\tiny\sf \cancel{-\:8xy^{2} }\quad\quad\;\;\:\:\;\\\tiny\sf \underline{\qquad\qquad\cancel{8xy^{2} }\qquad\qquad\;}\qquad\;\\\tiny\sf\qquad \cancel{6x^2y^3}\\\tiny\sf\quad\quad\underline{\;\;\;\;\;\;\quad\qquad \;\;\:-\:\cancel{6x^2y^3}\qquad}\qquad\qquad\\\tiny \sf \qquad 0

Here ,

The quotient is 5xy - 2y + 3xy² because ,

• 2xy(5xy) = 10x²y²

So , 10x²y² is subtracted from 10x²y² = 0

• 2xy(- 4y) = - 8xy²

So, however the - 8xy² will be subtracted ,

- 8xy² - ( - 8xy² ) = - 8xy² + 8xy² = 0

• 2xy(3xy²) = 6x²y³

Now , 6x²y³ will be subtracted from 6x²y³ = 0

Hence , 10x²y² - 8xy² + 6x²y³ ÷ 2xy = 5xy - 2y + 3xy²
