(I)

Yes , we can say that ..The Length of AB = AC
as these (AB & AC ) are tangents drawn from the same external point


(ii )

a) AB = AP + PR

AB = AP + PB

Here PB = PR ( Tangents drawn from same external point )

Therefore we get ..

AB = AP+ PR

b) Just like we did in a .. we will get his too..
AC = AQ + QC

Here QC = QR

therefore we get ,
AC = AQ + QR

c ) AB + AC = AP + PQ + AQ

Consider RHS ..


PQ = PR + RQ

and PR = PB ( tangents drawn from same external point)

and

RQ = QC ( tangents drawn from same external point)

therefore we get ...

AP + PQ + AQ = AB + AC
