Hey answer is 30......

First of all 7 times 30 is 210. And 210 + 50 is 260 wich requires 40 to complete 300

Adding 7 times over x + 50 = triple century - 40

Now solving the equation

7x + 50 = 260

7x = 260 - 50

7x = 210

Therefore, x = 210 / 7 = 30
