3a+2b=8............(1)

2a+3b=2............(2)

on multiplying (1) by 2 and (2) by 3 to eqaulize a then we get,

6a+4b=16..........(3)

6a+9b=6............(4)

on substraction we get

-5b=10

b=-2

putting the value of b in eq.(1)

3a+2(-2)=8

3a-4=8

3a=12

a=4

a=4;b=-2

3a+2b=8 _(1)
2a+3b=2 _(2)

multiplying eq. (1) with 2 and eq. (2) with 3 we get,
from (1)
6a+4b=16 _(3)
from (2)
6a+9b=6 _(4)
subtracting eq. (4) from (3) we get,
-5b=10
b=-2
putting value of b obtained in eq. (1) we get,
3a+(-4)=8
3a=12
a=4
so value of a=4, b=-2
