speed is always positive or zero

but velocity can be positive negative or zero

acceleration mns velocity of object over particular time

acceleration=velocity/time

si unit:m/s^2

if object doesn't change its acceleration for a period of time I.E. continues with same magnitude of acceleration it is defined as uniform acceleration and vice versa
