!! Hey Mate !!

your answer is ---

Given, equations are -

2x - 3y = 9 .....(1)

2x + y = 13 .....(2)

now , subtract equation (1) from (2), we get

2x+y - (2x-3y) = 13-9

=> 2x + y - 2x + 3y = 4

=> 4y = 4

=> y = 4/4

=> y = 1

put this value in equation (1), we get

2x - 3×1 = 9

=> 2x - 3 = 9

=> 2x = 9+3

=> x = 12/2

=> x = 6

hence , x = 6 & y = 1
