You can use quadratic formula
$d = b {}^{2} - 4ac$
$d = 48 {}^{2} - 4(1)( - 324)$
$d = 2304 + 1296$
$d = 3600$
now use quadratic formula------

$x = \frac{ - 48 + 60}{2}$
$x = \frac{12}{2} = 6$

By neglecting the value of X which is in negative and choosing the positive value.

Hence, The value of X=6.
